Family-Friendly Tailgating on Game Day: New Area Opening

The University of Alabama has established a new tailgating area for home football games – one that it says will combine “all of the fun of game day with an atmosphere conducive for families.”

The new tailgating zone is located at the corner of Hackberry Lane and Campus Drive, approximately two blocks north of the Quad, on Peter Bryce Campus.

The area will be ALCOHOL-FREE and strictly enforced. There will be inflatables, food vendors, face painting, and other activities for children.

This is a first-come, first-serve location, and it’s free. You’ll need to set up your own tent.

And yes, shuttle service will be provided to and from the Quad and Bryant-Denny Stadium from the Campus Drive Deck.

Here is a map of the Family Friendly Tailgate. For more information, visit uagameday.com.
