“We want people to share ideas about the superintendent search,” said Susan Salter with the Alabama Association of School Boards (AASB). “We want them to give opinions and ideas about what qualities they’d like the new superintendent to have.”
The AASB meetings are set for Thursday, June 2 at the Tuscaloosa Career & Technology Academy (2800 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard). The first meeting for parents, guardians and the community at large will be held from 11 a.m. to noon; the second will be Thursday evening from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m.
In addition, parents can also take an anonymous survey to express their views here.
