Kentuck 2016: Festival Music Line Up Announced

Hi all, Liz here, and you know by now that I love any and all live music. That includes the music and storytelling lineups each year at the Kentuck Festival of the Arts – and this year’s lineup looks as impressive as ever. Here’s the scoop…

Live music will be played on both Saturday, Oct. 15, and Sunday, Oct. 16, at the Festival. Here is the schedule:

Saturday, October 15:

9:30-10:30 Spookhouse Saints
11:00-12:00 Jesse Kramer
12:30-1:30 Steelism
2:00-3:00 Birmingham Seven

3:30-4:45 The McCrary Sisters

Sunday, October 16:

10:30-11:30 Porter
12:00-1:00 The Hogslop String Band
1:30-2:30 Dwayne Dopsie & the Zydeco Hellraisers
3:30-4:45 SHEL

All of these look great. There’s a wide variety of genres sure to suit everyone’s taste. That’s true at Kentuck each year – nice work, y’all! If you’re into alt-country/Americana, I can tell you that Porter is fantastic – same with Shel.

What looks good to you? Expect to see me front and center each day, dancing my feet off and enjoying the excellent atmosphere that the Kentuck Festival offers.
